Danielle Rousseau, PHD, LMHC, RYT-500, YACEP

Danielle Rousseau (she/her) is a passionate advocate for trauma-informed
care, social justice, and holistic well-being. Dr. Rousseau has dedicated her career to bridging the gaps between mental health, justice, and holistic well-being. Her connection to mindfulness and embodied movement unites her work as an educator, research, and trauma therapist.

Dr. Rousseau is a certified yoga teacher, trainer, researcher, and the Director of Research at Yoga 4 Change, a non-profit that supports holistic wellbeing, resilience, and transformation for individuals and communities through evidence-based trauma-informed curricula. At Yoga 4 Change, she helps coordinate curriculum development, training, and program evaluation. She also supports other yoga organizations in training including a 20-hour Trauma-Informed Yoga Practices training.
